1&1 – Again …
yesterday 1&1′s exchange servers went down again, but only for mobile sync. as always, there is no alerting and there is no time to fix provided. When put to the question Customer Service confirmed that it could take a year or more to fix. They had no idea. But they did know that the issue first started at 16h00 yesterday…
Customer service refused to try to find out a better time frame, refused to transfer me to someone senior who might be prepared to find out more and refused to give me a number to contact someone myself.
Customer service confirmed that they thought it was reasonable that they had no idea on fix times, had no historic information on which to base an ‘average time to fix for this type of problem’. They thought that this was good customer service. They also thought it was completely reasonable that they do not update their own status website with errors. See this: … clearly a bald faced lie.
